The Stadtgarten is a well-kept public garden in the centre of town, just back from the lakefront. It has large old trees, flowerbeds, a small pond, and a bandstand where concerts take place in summer. Families with children use it as a green escape from the promenade crowds. The garden connects the pedestrian shopping zone to the lake and makes a good shortcut between the station and the waterfront. Benches everywhere, no entry charge.
