Herzogenriedpark is Mannheim's quieter family park, with a historic rose garden, animal enclosures, playground space, and the Multihalle, a striking timber-grid hall built for the 1975 Bundesgartenschau. It is a lower-key alternative to Luisenpark when you want green space without leaving the city.
