Mannheim's main park, covering 41 hectares on the eastern side of the city. There is a lake, a Chinese tea house, a butterfly house, a telecommunications tower with a viewing platform (the Fernmeldeturm, accessible for a modest fee), and enough space to spend a relaxed half-day. The park holds a large festival of lights in autumn and various summer events.

It is a working city park rather than a grand formal garden — somewhat variable in quality — but remains the best option for green space within the city.
