The Neu-Ulm Water Tower rises from the old fortress works just across the Danube from Ulm. Built in 1900 on one of the former powder magazines, the 47-metre tower has become Neu-Ulm's local symbol. It is a quick architectural stop rather than a long visit, but it fits naturally into a walk across the river from Ulm's old centre.
