Fürther Freiheit is the broad central square where Fürth opens out from its older streets. It is a practical orientation point, a market and event space, and one of the easiest places to feel the city's daily rhythm without needing a formal attraction.
The square is most interesting when something is happening: a market, seasonal fair, or public gathering. Even on an ordinary day it is a useful stop between the railway station and the old town, especially if you are comparing Fürth's quieter character with neighbouring Nuremberg.
