Fulda is one of the most convenient rail junctions in central Germany, which makes it an easy stop.
By train: Fulda station is on the main Frankfurt–Kassel ICE high-speed line, with frequent fast trains from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (about 50 minutes) and Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (about 35 minutes). From Berlin it is about 2.5 hours by ICE. Connections to Erfurt, Munich, and other major cities are good. The station is about 10 minutes' walk from the cathedral quarter.
By car: Fulda lies at the junction of the A7 (Hamburg–Würzburg) and A66 (Frankfurt–Fulda) motorways, making it accessible from most directions in central Germany.
