Kokerei Hansa is a large former coking plant in Dortmund's Huckarde district and a stop on the Ruhr Industrial Heritage Trail. The plant began operating in the late 1920s and much of the machinery and industrial structure remains in place.
Guided and audio tours lead through the site, including the compressor room and other photogenic remains of the coke works. It is one of Dortmund's strongest stops for visitors interested in the Ruhr's industrial past.
