Steinerner Turm is a small historic watchtower south of central Dortmund, close to the Westfalenhallen area. It is a protected monument rather than a major attraction, but it gives a quick glimpse of the older defensive landscape that once sat outside the city.
It is worth a short detour if you are already nearby for the stadium, Westfalenhallen, or the southern edge of the centre.
