Getting There

Quedlinburg sits on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt, about 70 km southwest of Magdeburg. By train, the closest mainline station is Halberstadt, from where regional trains cover the last 15 km. From Halberstadt you can also reach Quedlinburg via the historic narrow-gauge Selketalbahn. By car, the B6 and B79 connect the town to the A36 motorway.
