The Ethnological Museum of Thrace is the best indoor stop in Alexandroupolis. Housed in a neoclassical building, it explains the everyday cultures of Thrace through clothing, tools, food traditions, and domestic life.
It is especially useful if this is your first stop in the region, because Thrace does not feel quite like the island-and-ruins Greece many travellers expect.
