Fiskardo has good tavernas for a small village, mostly clustered along the harbour front. Fish and seafood are the obvious choices — grilled octopus, fresh-caught sea bream, or a plate of meze in the late afternoon sun. Prices are higher than elsewhere on Cephalonia, in keeping with the yacht-crowd clientele, but the quality is generally good. The local Robola white wine, produced on the slopes of Mount Ainos further south, is the drink of choice and pairs well with everything from the sea.
