Star Beach is the flagship water park and beach club on the eastern edge of town, with a bungee jump, a long pier of water slides, jet skis, banana boats, and a permanent stage that runs through a long programme of afternoon shows and evening parties in season. Entry to the beach itself is free; pay-per-ride for the rest. It is brash, loud, and very much aimed at a young package-holiday crowd — but if that is the holiday you are after, it is the most complete one-stop venue in town.
Acuaplus and Watercity, the two big proper water parks, are a short drive west along the coast road and have many more slides and pools if you want a full day's water-park experience rather than a beach with extras.
