The Folklore Museum of Drama was established by the Lyceum Club of Greek Women and focuses on the traditional material culture of the region — clothing, textiles, household objects, agricultural tools, and the customs of the communities that lived here before and after the population exchanges of the 1920s.
The collection reflects the area's mixed heritage, with exhibits relating to both the settled Greek Orthodox population and the Bulgarian-speaking communities who shared the Drama plain for centuries. The museum is small but thoughtfully assembled, and the textile collection in particular is worth seeing. It provides a useful complement to the Archaeological Museum's ancient history focus.
