Poros has a handful of beaches, none dramatic but all serviceable. Askeli is the longest, on the northeast coast of Sferia — a stretch of coarse sand with sun loungers, clear water, and a beach bar. It's the most popular and fills up in July and August. Love Bay (Limanaki tis Agapis) on the western side is smaller, sandier, and has a more secluded feel.
The Monastery Beach to the north, near the old Russian naval station, is quieter and often uncrowded. Neorion Bay on the west coast of Kalaureia is calm and suitable for families. A water taxi service from the main quay serves most beaches in summer.
