Caldera Beach is a small beach near Akrotiri with deep, clear water and views back into Santorini's flooded volcanic basin. It is more useful for swimming and snorkeling than for a long lazy beach day, and the underwater visibility can be excellent.
Bring water shoes if you have them, and pair the stop with Akrotiri's archaeological site or the nearby red-rock coast.
