Benczúr House

Benczúr House is an 1880s mansion in Terézváros, now partly occupied by the Post Museum. The building itself is the attraction as much as the collection: a late-19th-century urban villa from the grand years of Budapest's expansion.

It is a niche stop, but a worthwhile one if you are interested in the city's old residential architecture or want a quieter museum away from the riverfront sights.
