Ujpest-Rakospalota Synagogue

The Ujpest-Rakospalota Synagogue is a 19th-century Neolog synagogue in North Pest. Built in a Romantic style in 1866, it was large enough to seat about a thousand worshippers and remains an important marker of the area's Jewish history.

It is away from Budapest's main synagogue trail, but worthwhile for visitors exploring the northern districts or looking beyond the better-known sights around the old Jewish quarter.
