The Mattyasovszky Bastion and Turkish Bath preserve part of Esztergom's medieval and Ottoman-era Watertown defenses below the castle hill. The remains are a short archaeological stop rather than a full museum, but they add useful context to a walk between the Danube, Víziváros, and the basilica.
