Saint Emeric Church

Saint Emeric Church was built between 1615 and 1618 for Koszeg's Hungarian-speaking congregation, in a late Renaissance style with Gothic echoes. It was later extended in Baroque style in the 17th century.

Inside, the main altar by Istvan Dorfmeister the Younger and Baroque side altars by Dorfmeister and Stephen Schaller make it a useful stop for visitors exploring the churches around Koszeg's old centre.
