Marina dei Maronti is the largest beach on Ischia, stretching for about 3 km below the island's southern slopes. It can be reached by road down from Barano, on foot from Sant'Angelo, or by water taxi, and the beach is known for thermal springs, fumaroles, and informal natural spa spots.
It is one of the better beach choices on the island when you want space as well as scenery. Bring sandals if you plan to explore the hotter sand and thermal areas.
