Palazzo di Riserva

Palazzo di Riserva was built as a Bourbon-era palace for important guests and still gives this corner of central Parma a formal, courtly air. Today it houses the central post office, the Parma Literary Society, and the Museo Glauco Lombardi.

It is worth noticing as part of a short walk between Teatro Regio, the Camera di San Paolo, and the cathedral quarter. The palace works best as a piece of Parma's historic fabric rather than as a long standalone visit.
