Parco del Noncello

The Noncello river runs through the western edge of Pordenone's historic centre, and the parks along its banks provide a pleasant counterpoint to the architectural pleasures of the corso. The riverside path is popular with cyclists and walkers, and the green spaces here — shaded by large trees — are genuinely inviting on a warm afternoon.

The view from the riverside back toward the old town, with the Torre Civica rising above the rooflines, is the best in the city. Several footbridges cross the river connecting the historic centre to the residential neighborhoods on the western bank.
