Parco degli Acquedotti is one of Rome's most atmospheric open spaces, where long runs of ancient aqueduct arches cross grassland southeast of the centre. The park preserves sections of Roman waterworks and traces of the Via Latina, so it works both as a walk and as a quieter way to see the scale of Roman engineering away from the Forum crowds.
