Auditorium Parco della Musica

Auditorium Parco della Musica is Rome's major modern concert complex north of the historic centre. Designed by Renzo Piano, it groups three beetle-like concert halls around an open-air cavea, with the forms set into the edge of the former Olympic district.

It is worth seeing for contemporary architecture even if you are not attending a performance. The programme ranges from classical music to jazz, film events and festivals, so it can also be a practical evening stop when central Rome feels too crowded.
