Piazza Colonna

Piazza Colonna is worth a pause for the Column of Marcus Aurelius, the carved Roman victory column that gives the square its name. The square also faces Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Italian government, but the ancient column is the reason to stop here while walking between the Pantheon and Trevi.
