Monte Mario is Rome's highest hill, rising northwest of the Vatican. The reward is the view: St Peter's dome, the bend of the Tiber, and the dense historic city spread out below.
It is not as central as the Janiculum, so it takes more intent to reach. Go for the panorama rather than a checklist sight, and time it for clear weather.
