MACRO Testaccio is a contemporary art space in Rome's former slaughterhouse complex in Testaccio. The industrial setting gives the exhibitions a different feel from Rome's older palace and church museums.
It is most useful when there is a temporary exhibition running, and it pairs well with the Testaccio market, Monte Testaccio, and the Protestant Cemetery area.
