Tellaro punches well above its size on food, mostly because the seafront restaurants share the same view and have to work harder than the ones in busier resorts. Expect Ligurian classics: trofie al pesto, anchovies done a dozen ways, stuffed squid, and the local octopus that the village claims, half-jokingly, descends from the bell-ringer in the legend.
Lunch is easier than dinner — kitchens fill in summer and many places are booked days ahead. If you want to eat with your feet near the water, reserve.
