Via XX Settembre in the lower city is the main commercial street — shoes, clothes, and everyday Italian goods. Città Alta has a handful of antique dealers and specialty shops along Via San Tomaso. For designer bargains, the Trussardi factory outlet in Almè (the family comes from the Bergamo province) is worth the short bus ride north of the city.
