Ancona has a relaxed aperitivo scene concentrated around the old town piazzas. The city is not a nightlife destination, but the early evening ritual of a glass of Rosso Conero or Verdicchio with snacks outside one of the piazza bars is a genuine pleasure, particularly in the warmer months.
