Castellana has a small but solid handful of restaurants, mostly serving honest Pugliese cooking — orecchiette with cime di rapa, fava bean puree (fave e cicoria), grilled meats, and the strong local primitivo wines. Look around the centro storico and Piazza Caduti di Tutte le Guerre for trattorias.
