The nearest airport is Bari Karol Wojtyla (BRI), about 55 kilometres to the northwest. Direct trains run from Bari Centrale to Monopoli on the Ferrovie del Sud-Est line; the journey takes around 40 minutes and trains run frequently throughout the day. By car from Bari, take the SS16 coast road south — slower than the autostrada but more scenic. Brindisi airport is also an option, roughly 60 kilometres to the south.
