Porto Cervo's shopping is concentrated in two arcaded spaces designed as part of the original Costa Smeralda plan. The Piazzetta delle Chiacchiere and the warren of stairs and alleys called the Sottopiazza between it and the marina hold most of the international luxury houses — Hermès, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli — alongside a few independent boutiques selling Sardinian linen, ceramics, and the local filigree silver jewellery.
Prices are firmly at high-season Italian resort levels. Most shops open only from June to mid-September; outside that window the village is largely shuttered. For Sardinian crafts at sensible prices, look further afield — the markets in Arzachena or Olbia are a better bet than the boutiques in the resort itself.
