The Castle of Ventimiglia is a medieval defensive site above Alcamo. Only parts of the walls, the main tower, and the dungeons survive, but the ruins still give a clear sense of why the position mattered.
It is a short historic stop rather than a polished museum, best paired with the old town and the Castle of the Counts of Modica.
