The Church of Saint Mary of Jesus is a 15th-century church on the edge of Alcamo, later enlarged in the 18th century. It is best known locally for holding the body of Beato Arcangelo Piacentini from Calatafimi.
It is a quiet church stop rather than one of western Sicily's headline monuments, but it adds a useful religious and architectural sight for travellers already exploring Alcamo.
