Noto's food scene punches well above its size. The almond, pistachio, and citrus from the surrounding countryside show up in everything from granita to pasta sauces. The city is justifiably famous for its pastries and gelato — Caffè Sicilia on the Corso is the most celebrated pastry shop in Sicily, possibly in Italy.
