The nearest airports are Catania Fontanarossa (60 km to the north, with frequent European connections) and Palermo (200 km, with more international routes). From Catania, trains run to Noto via Syracuse (total journey around 90 minutes, with a change at Syracuse). The Noto train station is at the bottom of the hill below the old town — it is a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride to the Corso.
By car, Noto is on the SP19 off the A18 motorway about 30 km south of Syracuse. Driving is the most flexible option for reaching the surrounding countryside, beaches, and Noto Antica. Parking near the centre is limited; the main car parks are at the eastern end of the town below the city walls.
From Palermo, buses are faster than trains and connect several times daily. Several tour operators run day trips to Noto from Catania and Syracuse, though a day is barely enough to do the town justice.
