The main beach at Marciana Marina curves along the harbour and is sandy and clean, though it gets crowded in July and August. It is a good family beach: shallow entry, clear water, beach facilities nearby. For something quieter, the coastal road east toward Procchio reaches a bay at Procchio with a longer and less crowded stretch of sand. To the west, the coast becomes more rocky, with small coves accessible on foot or by boat.
