Pieve di Misileo

A small rural parish church of medieval origin, on a hillside outside the village. The pieve is documented as early as the 11th century, when it was the principal religious centre for the scattered farms of the upper Senio valley. The building has been altered many times but the simple stone bell tower and apse retain their medieval character.

It is a quiet, atmospheric spot — a 20-minute walk uphill from the village square, with views back down the valley. The church is sometimes locked outside service times; ask in the village if you want to see the interior.
