A 13th-century Franciscan church on the northeast edge of the centre, smaller and quieter than San Nicolò across town. The interior is austere, with frescoes by Tommaso da Modena in the chapel of the Giacomelli, and contains the tombs of Pietro Alighieri (Dante's son, who died in Treviso) and Francesca Petrarca (the daughter of the poet Petrarch).
A surprisingly intimate spot given the literary associations, and rarely crowded.
