Palazzo Thiene is one of Vicenza's Palladian palaces, with work by both Giulio Romano and Andrea Palladio behind its grand courtyard and richly decorated rooms. It is still used by a bank, so access is more limited than at some other Palladian sites, but the building is an important stop for anyone tracing Vicenza's UNESCO-listed architecture.
Even a short visit is worthwhile for the facade and courtyard, especially as the palace sits close to Piazza dei Signori and the Basilica Palladiana.
