Pastry Cafe Royal, on Nëna Terezë, is one of the city's landmark meeting spots — the original building was destroyed during the 1999 war and rebuilt twice by its owner, most recently to fit the redeveloped streetscape of downtown Gjakova. In the Qarshia e Vogël area, Babylon is a good bar for music, drinks, and some of the best coffee in town.
