Eating in Gjakova follows the pattern of Kosovo generally: grilled meat is the main event. Qebapa (small grilled sausages), roasted lamb, and flija (a layered pancake traditional to the region) are the dishes to seek out. The bazaar area has small restaurants and cafes where you can eat well for very little.
