Getting There

Prizren is connected by regular bus services to Pristina (the Kosovo capital, about 80 km northeast), with multiple daily departures from the Prizren bus terminal. The journey takes 1.5–2 hours. Buses also run from Pristina airport, though less frequently — many travellers take a taxi or bus into central Pristina first and catch an onward connection.

From North Macedonia, buses run from Tetovo and Skopje via the Blace border crossing, with journey times of around 2–3 hours from Skopje. From Albania, buses connect Tirana to Prizren via Kukes and the Morina border crossing; the journey takes around 4–5 hours. From Serbia, crossing the border directly into Kosovo requires awareness of political sensitivities — check current crossing options and regulations before travelling.

There is no train service to Prizren. The nearest functioning rail connection to Kosovo is Pristina, reached by an unreliable service from Skopje via Ferizaj.
