Oxha (meaning "hearth" in Albanian) is one of Prizren's most reliable restaurants for traditional Albanian cooking. Housed in a renovated Ottoman building near the old bazaar, it serves slow-cooked lamb and veal dishes, excellent tave, and seasonal vegetable preparations that reflect genuine regional cooking rather than tourist versions of it.
The setting is atmospheric — stone walls, wooden ceilings, and a courtyard for summer dining. The menu is in Albanian and English. Book ahead for weekend evenings during the summer festival season, when Prizren fills with visitors from across Kosovo and the Albanian diaspora.
