Seaside Open-Air Museum and Narrow-Gauge Railway

A 17-hectare ethnographic park behind the beach, with relocated 19th- and early 20th-century coastal Latvian buildings — fishermen's cottages, smokehouses, sauna huts, a windmill, and an anchor museum that genuinely deserves a visit (some of the oldest hand-forged anchors in northern Europe).

The miniature steam railway, Mazbānītis, runs a 1.4-km circuit through the grounds on summer weekends — a working remnant of the network that once served Latvia's coastal forests. The park is a relaxed, low-key afternoon and a good place to bring children.
