Malbun is essentially a mountain — a ski area in winter, a hiking base in summer. The Sareis chairlift gives quick access to the high ridges; from there a network of waymarked trails fans out across the Rätikon range to mountain huts, summit panoramas, and the long valleys leading down towards Steg and the Rhine.
