Grevenmacher's pleasures are modest and genuine: wine cellars beneath the old town, a subtropical butterfly garden on the riverbank, and miles of cycling path along the Moselle. The town is small enough to cover on foot in an afternoon, but the surrounding wine villages reward a longer stay.
