This red-brick Byzantine Catholic cathedral was begun in 1925 and consecrated in 1931. Its taller central tower gives it a clear profile in central Strumica, and the church is an unusual reminder of the small Macedonian Byzantine Catholic community, which is in full communion with Rome.
