The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius is one of Strumica's more distinctive churches, built in 1905 with funding from Russian missionaries on Mount Athos. Its tall Russian and Gothic-influenced profile stands apart from most churches in North Macedonia, and the iconostasis paintings date from 1935.
